Dolly Parton is ready to look, act, and sing the part of being a rockstar; her induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame has made her realize one thing-it's finally time to put out a rock album.
"When you talk about the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame," Parton joked, "wouldn't you think that should be for the people in rock 'n' roll?"
In her recent interview with People Magazine, she admitted that she finally wrapped her head around being inducted into the Hall of Fame, and that she's "gonna accept gracefully."
And to prove how grateful she is for the honor, she shared an exciting detail that fans should look out for as they watch, "I have written a song just for [the ceremony], based on the whole story. I'm gonna perform that."
"'You know I've been rockin' since the day I was born.' You know, listening to Elvis and Journey and Chuck Berry, all those great people. It's a fine little song, and it's real rocky, so I'll have something fun to play off of, to ease some of the tension," she added.

Ready To Rock
The 76-year-old singer is considered a country music icon, but she is about to embark on a new journey in a different genre-rock & roll.
"I'm gonna have to live up to it if I'm gonna be in the Hall of Fame," she declared. "So I'm gonna go ahead and do a rock 'n' roll album, and I'm gonna pull people from the rock 'n' roll field to sing with me on it."
She vowed to collaborate with "some of the greats and do a lot of the great rock songs."
According to reports, Parton expressed her interest in working with Robert Plant and Jimmy Page.
Parton also revealed that aside from her Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Nomination, the final push that made her seal the deal in making a rock album was her own husband.
"My husband is a big hard rock 'n' roll fan, and for years I thought, 'One of these days I'd like to do an album mainly just for him, just to kind of do it.'"
