Bethan Roberts' novel "My Policeman" is about a love triangle in 1950s Britain and addresses themes about loyalty, identity, and tales.
Tom (Harry Styles), a police officer, falls in love with Marion, a teacher (Emma Corrin). Despite the fact that homosexuality is outlawed, Tom subsequently has a passionate same-sex affair with a museum curator named Patrick (David Dawson).
Tom instead opted to marry a lady in order to retain his respectability.
