Steve Lacy performed as this past weekend's musical guest on Saturday Night Live, and his incredible performance made it a truly exceptional night.
Since the beginning of the show, Saturday Night Live has done a masterful job combining the most exciting hosts and the best musical guests to highlight the talents of the core cast. This past weekend was no exception. The show was hosted by comedian Amy Schumer. This was the talent's third time hosting the late night sketch series. She previously hosted the show back in 2015 and in 2018.
Previously, Schumer has been joined by musical guests The Weeknd and Kacey Musgraves. This time, she was joined by the iconic Steve Lacy.
Steve Lacy is a young R&B/soul singer. The performer released his exceptional album Gemini Rights on July 15th of this year. Both songs that he performed on Saturday Night Live came from this album. He performed Helmet, which is the second track on the album, and Bad Habit, which is the fifth track on the album.
The musical talent already has four albums. His first EP came out in 2017. It is titled Steve Lacy's Demo. His other albums include Apollo XXI which came out in 2019 and The Lo-Fis which came out in 2020. Each of these albums have gotten better and better, leaving his fans eager to see what the star will do next.
These performances were absolutely incredible. We can't wait to see what Steve Lacy does next!
