Takeoff's fans will be able to see the rapper one last time following his tragic death.
After the confirmation regarding Takeoff's funeral plans. Atlanta's State Farm Arena revealed on Tuesday that a public funeral to celebrate his life would be held on Friday, Nov. 11, which would welcome his fans who have tickets.
"Takeoff was one of the most influential names in modern music whose creativity left a profound impact on music and culture as we know it today. The cherished Quality Control/Motown superstar was a part of the supergroup Migos and was a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, and friend to so many," the event said in a statement, per Rolling Stone.
Georgia residents can exclusively acquire tickets via Ticketmaster.
The public event, "Celebration of Life," will allow everyone to participate for free. However, photos and videos will not be permitted inside the event.
The media reportedly will have no access to the venue, as well.
Meanwhile, Takeoff's family has since asked fans to donate to the Rocket Foundation instead of giving flowers or gifts. The non-profit organization works on preventing gun violence across the country.
The venue decided to disallow these things for security reasons.
Details about special attendees are unknown to the public, but multiple news outlets said Justin Bieber would perform at the Migos member's memorial service.
Takeoff's "Celebration of Life" will happen at the 20,000-seat capacity arena, with Reverend Jesse Curney III of New Mercies Christian Church to lead the service, Atlanta radio station V-103 confirmed.
Who Killed Takeoff?
According to Takeoff's agency, the rapper was killed by a stray bullet at the scene, explaining that he was not the target.
Houston Police Chief Troy Finner revealed that at least two firearms were used in the shooting incident. He also revealed that there were two or more suspects in the area when the shooting occurred, but no arrests have been made yet.
However, one video has since surfaced which seemingly caught the potential suspect. The man, who was in black with a black satchel, was holding a handgun in his hip pocket, as recorded by the clip.
The Houston Police Department already received and watched the clip, saying that the man became a person of interest.
Although no arrests have been made yet, the Harris County coroner's office divulged that Takeoff's death was a homicide.
