Mariah Carey is known to be a diva, but she is accused of being THE ultimate diva during the holiday season.

According to Heat UK, her crew was the first to observe and be affected by the alleged conduct of the "All I Want For Christmas Is You" hitmaker.

One source revealed that while being a fantastic entertainer, she is quite demanding. Her list of requests begins when she wakes up and ends until her head hits the pillow.

They added that the mom-of-two has these absurd requests when on tour, such as having her favorite champagnes delivered in crystal flutes.

Mariah apparently wants gourmet chefs to make all of her meals, and she wants mineral water and nutritious snacks in her dressing room.

The room should also be completely white.

The "We Belong Together" singer also has an army of personal helpers working for her.

"When Mariah chooses to do anything, it's usually a production, and she's already driving everyone insane."

According to the source, Mariah Carey feels extra pressure around the holidays to maintain her reputation as the Queen of Christmas. As a result, she is said to aspire to outdo any other singer by being an even larger diva.

"She puts a lot of pressure on herself to keep up with new artists and imposters competing for her throne."

Mariah Carey reportedly goes so far as to refuse to work with her because "all they want for Christmas is for her to calm down and give them a vacation."

The Truth About the Claims

However, this story should be taken with a grain of salt because there is no proof that Mariah Carey's diva behavior worsens over the Christmas season.

Nobody criticized the Grammy Award-winning singer's attitude or diva behavior.

Queen of Christmas

Nobody would want to dethrone Mariah as the ultimate Queen of Christmas, therefore it's obvious that no one would want to take that away from her.

She even attempted to copyright "Queen of Christmas," but was chastised by two holiday performers.

Back in March, the 53-year-old filed an application with the US Patent and Trademark Office to officially promote herself as the sole "Queen of Christmas," but her claim was disputed by other singers Elizabeth Chan and Darlene Love, who both claim ties to the moniker.

Throughout her career, Elizabeth has recorded numerous Christmas songs, while Darlene is recognized for her work on a holiday album and iconic holiday tunes.
