It has been years since Susan Boyle last released an album, and people have almost forgotten about her.

According to the Daily Record, she is well and fine-in fact, she was spotted all smiles and sporting a sequinned top as she attended Robbie William's gig at Ovo Hydro Glasgow.

Onlookers claimed that Boyle was having the time of her life, "Susan was up boogying away for all the big songs and looked like she was really enjoying herself as she sang away."

Apparently, Williams personally invited the 61-year-old singer to his gig. Reports note that she is a long-time fan of Williams, and was more than happy to be there.

"She really loved Robbie and thought he was the consummate entertainer," onlookers added.

In a hilarious twist of fate, the pair's music was once vying to top the charts back in 2009.

Life Update

Boyle has stayed at arm's length from the limelight following her massive success at "Britain's Got Talent."

In 2009, she rose to prominence following her "Britain's Got Talent" audition, wherein she performed "I Dreamed a Dream," a song from the musical "Les Miserables."

Following her "Britain's Got Talent" stint, she went on to release her debut studio album, "I Dreamed a Dream," which became one of the most successful album releases of all time.

According to reports, Boyle struggled with her fame. She admitted that the experience was "suffocating" and "difficult to come to terms with."

She has, however, released several more albums after her first, including "The Gift" in 2010, "Someone to Watch Over Me" in 2011, and "Standing Ovation: The Greatest Songs from the Stage" in 2012.

She dropped her first holiday album "Home for Christmas" in 2013, followed by her sixth studio album "Hope" in 2014.

Boyle took a two-year hiatus before she released "A Wonderful World" in 2016, followed by her eighth studio album "Ten," released in 2019.

'Grounded'

While Boyle has not been performing or making music, she has appeared in a few news pieces, with one of the most recent about her newly-renovated home.

The Irish Mirror featured the Scotland native as she showed off her childhood home which received a much-needed revamp.

Despite having an impressive net worth of $40 million, Boyle has stayed in the same home for more than six decades.

"It's to do with the memories of your house and your upbringing, you need to take stock of things and maybe see where you come from and where your roots lie," she said.

Perhaps this is the reason why the singer has kept to herself all these years. Aside from her age and being uncomfortable with the limelight, she is simply staying grounded.

"It's best to be grounded and with your roots. It keeps you grounded and prevents you from saying things maybe you shouldn't say."
