"Born Again" is the title of Rihanna's second song for the "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" album. It is another captivating ballad no doubt and majority of the fans were just happy to hear from her again.

After dropping it, fans are hoping that finally, a new full-length album from Rihanna would be annoucnced soon enough.

But the singer is actually quite willing to disappoint.

The song finishes up the "BPWF" soundtrack and was produced by an all-star collaboration consisting of The-Dream and Ludwig Goransson, with Grammy-winning songwriter James Fauntleroy contributing to the songwriting.

Last week, with the release of Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 4, she explained to her rabid fans that her imminent Super Bowl LVII performance did not necessarily indicate the release of a new album.

Earlier, when TMZ talked cwith Rihanna, she admitted to feeling anxious about her halftime show performance, but the enthusiastic reception of her new music by her fans should help calm her nerves. "Lift Me Up" debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, and with the release of "BPWF" this weekend, it's probable that Rihanna's music will be on everyone's mind... and ears, making them hope that soon a whole album will be in their hands.

"Born Again" features Rihanna on both ends of its soundtrack; "Lift Me Up," her dedication to Chadwick Boseman, is the opening track.

Both tracks signal Rihanna's comeback to music after a six-year absence and the birth of her son, but fans should not anticipate a new album just yet.

"Lift Me Up," the first song from the said soundtrack from Rihanna actually allowed herself to go at Taylor Swift's throne head to head.

After releasing new music for the first time in six years, Rihanna returned to the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. "Lift Me Up" from the Marvel Studios film "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" is her 32nd Top 10 hit on the Billboard charts, her first entry in that area since 2017.

"Wild Thoughts" peaked at No. 2 for seven straight weeks, while "Love on the Brain" from "Anti" was her last solo appearance. However, "Lift Me Up" could only debut at No. 2, not enough to unseat Taylor Swift, whose single "Anti-Hero" remained at No. 1 for a second consecutive week.
