Kanye West has been facing numerous issues over the past month after his anti-Semitic remarks and negative comments in both social media platforms and in interviews. Since then, there were fans who regret getting a tattoo inspired by the rapper.
Even though tattoos are permanent, there is still a chance for them to be removed as a London-based studio offers a special deal for fans who have Kanye West-inspired inks.
Taking to their official Instagram account, tattoo removal studio NAAMA shared a post, offering fans that they would remove their Kanye tattoos for free.
"Yeezy come, yeezy go. Got a #kanyewest tattoo? Tag us," they wrote in the caption.
One Fan Regrets Getting Kanye West-Inspired Tattoo
A few weeks ago, a fan named Alex Jones tweeted that he got an alternative cover art design tattoo of the rapper's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" album in 2016 and he regretted his decision.
He was one of the people who took NAAMA's offer, telling Metro UK that it was kind of depressing to see someone he adores so much start saying negative comments about other people.
Briony Garbett from the studio spoke to the outlet, saying there were fans who went to their studio, telling them that it was triggering and shameful for them that they got a body ink dedicated to the "Donda" rapper.
"People with Kanye tattoos were coming to us and you could hear how triggering it was for them, how embarrassing and shameful they felt, given he's been making the headlines for the wrong reasons," Garbett said.
Kanye West Gets Dropped By Big Brands Following Series of Controversy
The offer comes after West's series of controversy over the past few months, starting with his "White Lives Matter" shirt at Paris Fashion Week during the Yeezy season 9 show.
He later uploaded screenshots of messages on Instagram that contained anti-Semitic ideas.
Since then, many brands ceased their partnership with the hip-hop artist like Gap, The Creative Artists Agency, Balenciaga, TJ Maxx, Foot Locker, and the biggest one, Adidas.
After the shoe company formally cuts ties with West, Forbes estimated that the rapper is not a billionaire, anymore.
In an effort to regain his billions of dollars, the "Dark Fantasy" hitmaker set up a GoFundMe, but Rolling Stone reported that the fundraising page was seemingly taken down after only earning $5.
