Elton John has been making headlines over the past few days for his "Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour" but there was one incident that was not made public but there are online users who are sharing the news on social media.
According to Billboard, as confirmed by the authorities, at least one person was arrested after allegedly attacking an older couple at the parking lot of Dodger Stadium over the weekend.
Los Angeles Police Department's Officer Rosario Cervantes confirmed that they were made aware of the "battery and vandalism" issue that reportedly happened on November 17, but details are still unclear.
"We have one arrest that has been made. However that's all we have at the moment," the officer said.
The "brutal assault," as reported by an outlet, caused one victim to be hospitalized and was released the same evening, but the other one was discharged at a later date.
Details regarding the alleged suspect's identity have not been publicized.
A spokesperson for Dodgers Stadium, Nicole Singer, spoke to The Associated Press, saying the incident is still under investigation that's why they couldn't reveal more information as it would be inappropriate for them to publicize any private information at the time being.
As of this writing, Elton John has not publicly commented on the matter.
Not The Only Issue During Elton John's Weekend Concert
It appears that there is another issue that happened during Elton John's concert over the weekend as fans expressed their disappointment online due to the traffic that the show had caused.
In early reports, there were fans who were still on the road due to the heavy traffic when the show began.
"2 total hours in traffic and 3 hours of show. Missed the first two songs and those tix ain't cheap! What a s*** show. Be warned this weekend Elton John concert goers!" one wrote.
Some fans took over three hours to get to the venue just to watch the show.
For fans who never got the chance to watch the final tour in his US leg, the entirety of his performance will be available for streaming exclusively on Disney+.
Titled "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road: The Final Elton John Performances And the Years That Made His Legend," the show will be accessible starting on November 20.
