Kelly Rowland showed her support for Chris Brown after the R&B singer's recent suffering because of his past actions.
On Monday, Rowland spoke up about Brown again and urged the haters to forgive the singer already.
"I believe that grace is very real, and we all need a dose of it. Before we point fingers at anybody, we should realize how grateful we are for every moment that we get, even for our own [problems] that we have. I just think it's important to remember to be human. We are humans," she told a news outlet.
The 41-year-old singer added that everyone needs to be forgiven for anything they did and thought. With that, she believes everybody deserves grace and forgiveness.
Rowland's recent comment came after the recently ended 2022 American Music Awards.
What was supposed to be another best night for Brown turned to chaos as he was booed when Rowland received his award at the 2022 AMAs amid his absence. The former Destiny's Child singer, meanwhile, asked the crowd to stop before showering him with praises during the acceptance speech.
She told the AMAs crowd to chill out when Brown won the Favorite Male R&B Artist award.
After defending Brown, Rowland received heartfelt support from fans who believed she did the right thing.
What Happened to Chris Brown?
The public's rage continues decades after he got involved in an assault case for abusing his then-girlfriend, Rihanna.
In 2009, he was charged with felony domestic assault after attending the Grammy Awards with the singer. When the pair left the pre-Grammy party, they got into a public altercation that led to the "Umbrella" hitmaker sustaining bruises on her face and arms.
According to reports, the fight started when Rihanna read a lengthy text message from another woman on his phone. The authorities found out that the R&B singer hit her head several times against the passenger window before punching her with his right hand while driving.
Brown was sentenced to five years of probation and 1,400 of community service after he was charged with two felonies for assault.
In 2012, they reunited when Rihanna invited him to be part of the "Birthday Cake" remix after her restraining order against him was eased.
