Kanye West is back on Twitter, and he is surveying if it was a good move to ask former President Donald Trump to be his running mate in the 2024 Presidential Elections.
Earlier this week, Ye voiced out that he would run for the presidency again after miserably losing in the 2020 presidential elections to President Joe Biden.
Now, Ye has reignited his plans on gunning for the leader of the free world again - and he is tapping Trump to be his Vice President.
In his recent tweet, which has now amassed almost 700,000 votes, Kanye asked his 32.2 million fans.
"First time at Mar-a-Lago Rain and traffic Can't believe I kept President Trump waiting And I had on jeans Yikes What you guys think his response was when I asked him to be my running mate in 2024?" he tweeted.
In a poll, the votes for "Ye" is now already 58.9% of the total votes, with 41.1 saying that Trump's response was a "No."
The two had been really friendly in the past, as Ye has also sported the infamous "Make America Great Again" cap of Donald Trump.
The visit came weeks after Trump said that Ye needed "help" after his recent antisemitic outburst in the media.
Ye, who had been clinically diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, had been refusing treatment to manage his episodes.
In the past few months, Kanye had been the subject of headlines following his controversial statements - starting from dissing the Black Lives Matter movement with his White Lives Matter statement shirts and his plans to "dathcon3" the Jews. Reports of his fanaticism toward Adolf Hitler had also emerged in the past few months.
Because of his problematic stances in the media, Kanye saw his own net worth plummeting as his biggest investor, Adidas, pulled the plug on his Yeezy deal, costing his net worth a loss of more than 1.5 billion dollars.
"Ye's recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company's values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness," an Adidas representative said in a statement.
Other brands like GAP, Balenciaga, and MRC have also severed ties with the "DONDA" rapper, leaving him almost broke in the next couple of months.
