Earlier this year, the hip-hop community was shocked by the passing of Migos member Takeoff in a shootout in Texas.
Quavo, who was on the scene, was said to have been one of the causes of the physical altercation that went violent, leaving Takeoff dead.
Offset, who has since left the band weeks before Takeoff's passing, has finally broken his silence and addressed the death of his friend and brother.
"The pain you have left me with is unbearable. My heart is shattered and I have so many things to say, but I can't find the words. I've been going to sleep and waking up hoping that all of this is a dream, but it's reality, and reality feels like a nightmare," he said in a statement. "Every time you would see me, you didn't give me a dap, you gave me a hug."
He also said that: "I wish I could hug you one last time, laugh one last time, smoke one last time, perform one last time. I know someone with a soul like yours is in heaven now. I hope you can see how much we love you and miss you. You have left a hole in my heart that will never be filled. Give me strength, give your brothers strength, give your family strength. Even though I know you will always be with us, throw me a lil sign or a beautiful dream. I love you forever [for life] and after."

The heartbreaking statement, coupled with their photos together, sent everyone on social media bawling their eyes off, still mourning the loss of the young rapper.
Meanwhile, this left fans of both rappers wondering - who among the two has a bigger net worth?
Offset Net Worth 2022
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Offset's Net Worth amounts to $26 million. This is attributed to his work as a member of Migos for a long time before departing from the group earlier this year.
Based on the same outlet, Takeoff's Net Worth is also at $26 million, considering they both came from the same group.
The group has released four studio albums, two of them reaching No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts. As for Offset, he released a solo debut album in 2019 titled "Father of 4."
