The NBA in NBA YoungBoy's moniker stands for never broke again, and he is making sure of that. The 23-year-old rapper took to Instagram Stories to share a picture of his portable hard drive and offered to sell it for a hundred million dollars.
However, he also added "I'll never rap again on everything." His haters must be racing to collect the price that he offered else the young rapper would still be around for a long time.
Overworked?
YoungBoy's hard drive is surely a treasure trove for fans, as he is known to release new music every so often.
After all, he announced that he plans to drop 10 projects in this year alone, and it does seem like he is on his way of completing his list.
According to Hip Hop DX, the rapper released five projects in 2022-a feat not a lot of artists can do.
That includes his fourth solo album "The Last Slimeto," which boasts 30 songs on the track alone. In October, he released "Ma' I Got a Family," which boasts 19 songs.
Other releases included collaborations with several artists like DaBaby and Quando Rondo.
Fans wonder why the rapper would even consider such a deal, when he has been doing so well in recent months.
According to Boardroom, YoungBoy is one of the rappers that people should watch out for.
Chart data named him the second most-streamed artist of the year in America back in June.
His music has been performing very well on the charts as well. "The Last Slimeto" debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and he has several US Certifications under his belt, with over 83 million units sold in America alone.
Some speculate that YoungBoy wants to quit rapping because he got tired or burned out, maybe even overworked. However, this is not the case.
According to Hot New HipHop, it seems like the rapper is just reprioritizing: "I done found time for myself. Every $15 million tour come my way getting turned down. I don't wanna do another show. I don't want nothing but a bigger house. It gave me time for myself. My daughter know who I am - I know who I am. [sic]"
After turning down tours, which allegedly costs about $15 million, he is finally hitting the road once again for a short 30-city tour.
