Jessie James Decker took to Instagram to share a harmless picture of her children during their Thanksgiving vacation in Mexico, but fans noticed something odd and strange with her children's physique.
Several pictures of the Decker children, Vivianne, Eric Jr., and Forrest, showed them in swimsuits, having a great time at the beach.
In one specific picture, fans noticed that the kids had abdominal muscles, which they determined was too "weird" for children to have at a young age.
"So confused," an Instagram user wrote in the comments.
"No, the middle part color doesn't match the rest of their bodies," another one added, insinuating that the country singer photoshopped abs on her children's bodies.
"What app is this? I need, need it like now!" Another added.
Others criticized the country singer and her husband, "Y'all are ripping on little kids. Are you legit mental?"
Decker did not take well with the comments and addressed the haters: "It's a sad world we live in today when having healthy fit kids who are super active, play sports are build [sic] muscle naturally is 'weird'."
Photoshopped?
While the negative comments came in, there were several fans who commented complimenting the Deckers' genes, and jokingly asked for their fitness regimen.
"Well this is humbling to see right after thanksgiving...drop their workout plan please," a fan wrote.
Another added, "People so surprised seeing a child who eats well and exercises."
"Can you guys adopt me? maybe I'll get some abs too," a fan jokingly replied.
The Decker children's physique might have been put into question, however, some also noted that they are kids of two very athletic, active, and fit parents.
The country singer wed her former NFL husband Eric Decker in 2013, so the gene pool must really be working on their side.
Decker once again took to the comments and put the haters back in their place, "From one mother to another. Please don't call my children's appearance strange just because they don't look the way you think they should. It's unkind."
Aside from being a mother and singer, Decker also participated in "Dancing with the Stars," which just added to more reasons why her family is very fit and active.
Decker cited her children's various activities and sports that keep them healthy and packed with abs, "She loves it and puts her heart into it," referring to her daughter's love for gymnastics.
