BTS member Jungkook's song "Dreamers" just made history as the first FIFA World Cup song to debut atop the Billboard chart, and it is just the beginning.
When the South Korean native set foot on the FIFA World Cup stage in Qatar, he took the world by storm and made everyone fall in love not only with his charismatic performance but also with the song he performed.
According to reports, "Dreamers" is the official soundtrack for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and it has continuously made several music records in the short time it has been released.
However, according to Chart Data, it is not the singer's first No. 1 hit, as he is no stranger to topping several music charts both in his home country in South Korea, and worldwide charts.
With this new win under his belt, Jungkook is an Asian act that land several No. 1 songs on the Billboard Global Digital Song Sales chart; and ironically, he is also included in the other Asian act to top the chart, as BTS also topped the Global Digital Song Sales chart.

According to reports, Jungkook's "Dreamers" had over 32 million unfiltered streams.
It is expected to go up from there, as he is a member of one of the most prominent South Korean acts, and their fanbase is a force to be reckoned with.
Furthermore, Spotify also reported that the 25-year-old singer is the first and only KPOP solo artist to get over 30 million streams within the first week of a song release.
Aside from "Dreamers," his song with Charlie Puth, "Left and Right" and his solo song "Stay Alive" also amassed big numbers.
BTS fans, who go by the name of Army, are ecstatic with the record-setting goal the singer has achieved. They congratulated him on social media, calling him the "main pop boy."
The song has also welcomed in several new listeners, "Am not a BTS fan at all. But I discovered this song during the World Cup opening ceremony and fell in love with it! Beautiful song! I enjoy Jungkook's voice and neat dance moves," a user wrote.
"I'm not a fan of BTS, but this boy deserves everyone's respect, he has an incredible voice that makes us feel and live the World Cup from the bottom of our hearts," another added.
"Dreamers" was released just hours before the World Cup commenced, and he also performed the song live for the first time with Fahad Al-Kubaisi, reports say.
The music video was released on Nov. 22 through FIFA's official YouTube channel.
