Jake Flint, 37, died tragically only hours after exchanging wedding vows on Saturday night.
Brenda and the Oklahoma singer-songwriter exchanged vows on Saturday night at a secluded farmstead between Claremore and Owasso, near Tulsa.
The new bride is left shattered and broke-hearted, writing on Facebook hours after their special day, "We should be going through wedding photos but instead I have to pick out clothes to bury my husband in."
"People aren't meant to feel this much pain. My heart is gone and I just really need him to come back. I can't take much more. I need him here."
The Oklahoman reported that Jake Flint died in his sleep, but the official cause of death has yet to be determined.
The shock and sadness in the Oklahoma music community were palpable as word of the "Long Road Back Home" singer's death spread. "I can confirm that Jake died in his sleep sometime in the night after his wedding," his publicist Clif Doyal told NBC News in an email. "There has been no determination on the cause of death."
Brenda shared a video from their wedding on Facebook on November 28th, showing her and her new husband having fun while snapping shots.
Jake was exposed to guitar lessons by his father, a music aficionado who forced him to listen to John Denver, James Taylor, and Dire Straits.
It is unknown if Jake Flint has any current medical difficulties, however his father was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease when Jake was young.

According to the National Institutes of Health, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, or ALS, is an illness that gradually destroys and finally kills nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. Because it is a noncommunicable disease, instances are not reported to federal health officials.
Approximately 5-10% of ALS instances occur within families, which implies that two or more persons in a family have it. A few hereditary variables contribute to these situations.
Tripping, slurred or thick speech, trouble swallowing, weight loss, shortness of breath, reduced muscle tone, increased or diminished reflexes, and uncontrolled laughing or sobbing are all potential early indicators of the condition.
"What's Your Name," "Long Road Back Home," and "Cowtime" were among Jake Flint's successful tunes.
He published his first two albums, "I'm Not OK" in 2016 and "Jake Flint" in 2020.
