Kanye West's interview with Alex Jones took a turn when he doubled down on antisemitism, which caused netizens to suggest that the rapper should be placed under a conservatorship.

The 45-year-old rapper appeared on the podcast "InfoWars," wearing a black fabric mask covering his entire face, and talked about Adolf Hitler.

"I'm not trying to be shocking. I like Hitler," he reportedly said. "The Holocaust is not what happened... Hitler has a lot of redeeming qualities."

Then the rant continued as he explained the late German dictator's "redeeming qualities."

"Well, I see good things about Hitler, also. I love everyone," he added. "[...] But this guy that invented highways, invented the very microphone that I use as a musician,

"You can't say out loud that this person ever did anything good, and I'm done with that. I'm done with the classifications, every human being has something of value that they brought to the table. Especially Hitler!"

Jones, who is definitely no stranger to controversy, was taken aback by West, and denounced the rapper's claims. He also accused West of having a "bit of a Hitler fetish going on," but the rapper denied it was anything such, and said, "I just like information."

According to reports, this is not the first time the "Gold Digger" singer has professed these antisemitic sentiments, in fact, it goes as far back as 2018.

Conservatorship

Netizens did not take West's statements lying down, and they immediately took to Twitter to air out their frustrations with the rapper and his antisemitic comments.

They demanded that the rapper should be placed under a conservatorship, "Amazing to think Britney Spears spent a decade under a restrictive conservatorship because of issues a fraction of whatever the dangerous hell is going on with Kanye West. Who is going to get people hurt, as well as himself," a Twitter user wrote.

"Kanye West needs to be stopped. He cannot continue having a platform. He has children who will eventually see this. It's not healthy. He needs proper help. Britney Spears was forced into a 13-year conservatorship for a lot f**king less," another added.

Other users used to be a fan of the rapper, but his recent behavior has caused them to question his mental state, "Kanye West needs to be put in a conservatorship! He is not well. Someone needs to step in... smh. Mental illness is real. I used to be in awe of Ye. Now... just sad."
