Iggy Pop isn't slowing down anytime soon, but he is going to stop doing one of his most famous and iconic stage moves.
During his interview with NME, the 75-year-old revealed that he will cease doing the stage dives he has been doing since he was a young punk rocker.
"I won't do the dives again, I've managed to survive it mostly and I'm too rickety for that now," he admitted.
According to reports, the "Godfather of Punk" has been stage diving throughout his career, which began back in the 1960s.
However, this is not the first time he has said this. The punk rocker dove off stage during a concert at Carnegie Hall in New York in 2010, but no one was able to catch him.
The incident caused injuries and the singer swore off stage diving, but he still did it anyway.

Quiet down?
Elsewhere in his NME interview, Iggy Pop opened up about retirement and winding down, like he did back in 2016, but was surprised to find out that he still has it in him to make music and perform.
During a 2016 interview, he shared that he was ready to turn in the microphone, "I feel like I'm closing up after this. That's what I feel. It's my gut instinct."
However, he obviously did not follow his gut instinct, because he carried on, releasing albums after the release of "Post Pop Depression" in 2016.
Much like the single "Frenzy" this year, his approach to life is much like his approach to music.
And despite all his claims of retiring and no more stage diving, many can't help but wave it off.
Iggy Pop has no plans of slowing down or even stopping anytime soon. In fact, he is about to release his nineteenth studio album, "Every Loser" next year.
He was quoted, "I assumed things would quiet down once I turned 65. That hasn't been the case."
Iggy Pop, born James Newell Osterberg Jr., rose to prominence when he fronted The Stooges in 1967.
While he is not as big of a name as his other punk rock musician counterparts, his influence on other bands is something telling of his talent and passion for music.
