Earlier this year, Steven Tyler entered rehab after his drug relapse in May 2022. Because of this, Aerosmith's Las Vegas Residency was put on hold to give way to the vocalist's mental health condition.

"As many of you know, our beloved brother Steven has worked on his sobriety for many years. After foot surgery to prepare for the stage and the necessity of pain management during the process, he has recently relapsed and voluntarily entered a treatment program to concentrate on his health and recovery," the statement read at the time.

The singer was on pain management for Morton's Neuroma. Cleveland Clinic defined Morton's Neuroma as a foot condition that most often affects the nerves between the third and fourth toes. Two nerves connect there, and they can become trapped under the ligament, causing them to move awkwardly when a person walks, runs, or dances.

However, after almost two months, Tyler was released from rehab after showing "impressive progress" from his recent relapse.

After a few months, Tyler, along with the rest of the band, has started their highly-awaited "Deuces Are Wild" Las Vegas residency.

While everything seemed to be okay and smoothly running, Aerosmith was forced to cancel two of their performances last Dec. 2 and Dec. 5, 2022. Supposedly, the band is on their final few string of concerts for their "Deuces Are Wild" Las Vegas Residency, but the band has released an unfortunate piece of news that has saddened their fans.

To date, Aerosmith has already performed 12 concerts, and they are due to perform on Dec. 8, and Dec. 11, their last two concerts.

In a tweet, Aerosmith had this to say about their "Deuces are Live" Las Vegas Residency:

"To all our fans... We are so sorry to announce we are cancelling these last two Las Vegas shows. On the advice of doctors, Steven has to sit these out," the statement reads. "Stay healthy and we'll see you in the new year!"

Meanwhile, Aerosmith "Deuces are Wild" Las Vegas Residency tickets purchased via Ticketmaster can be easily refunded.

However, the Aerosmith "Deuces are Wild" Las Vegas Residency rescheduled dates are yet to be announced in the coming weeks and months.

As of this writing, it is not yet clear what happened to Steven Tyler, that prompted them to cancel the remaining concerts indefinitely.
