R. Kelly was found guilty of child sex abuse and is currently incarcerated, and apparently, he released a new album admitting to his crimes aptly entitled "I Admit"--but did he really?
According to Variety, Sony Music quickly cleared up the confusion on whether the rapper really released the said album.
After the unofficial release dropped on music streaming platforms, Spotify and Apple Music, it was quickly taken down.
"This content has been removed from the platform at the request of the distributor," a rep for Sony Music told Variety.
Moreover, the disgraced rapper's camp will be looking into who was behind the release of the album, but they also noted that he "is having intellectual property stolen from him."

Bootleg Album
The supposed R. Kelly album has 13 songs, and reportedly addressed several of the claims and allegations against him.
Some of the songs were entitled "I Found Love," "Good Ole Days," and "Freaky Sensation," "She Deserve," "The Last Man Standing."
TMZ described the last three songs on the bootleg release as "most revealing." It was a three-part piece called "I Admit It (I Did It)."
Some of the lyrics read: "I done f***ed with a couple of fans," "How they gon' say I don't respect these women when all I've done is represent," and "They're brainwashed, really? Kidnapped, really? Can't eat, really? Real talk, that s*** sound silly."
Variety reported that a source revealed that the album was released by Real Talk Entertainment, but was not sure how they got ahold of R. Kelly's recordings.
The bootleg album caused quite an uproar among netizens on social media.
"There's no saving R Kelly. Everybody been knew R Kelly is sick. Messing with kids underage is no excuse even if they throw themselves at you. You ought to know better!" A Twitter user wrote.
Another tweeted: "Sooooo R.kelly just drop a new album. COMEDIANS, ......get on your mark, get set...and GOOOOOOOOO."
Ironically, the title comes from R. Kelly's 2018 song, however in that 19-minute song, he denied the allegations against him.
As of this writing, all bootleg releases of the album have since been taken down, and there is no word on who released it.
According to the Daily Mail UK, the 55-year-old was sentenced to 30 years in prison back in June of this year after being found guilty in Chicago and New York courts of sex trafficking and child sex abuse charges.
Although he has been often linked to these crimes, it was not until Lifetime released "Surviving R. Kelly" in 2019 that spurred the full-on investigation and charges against the rapper.
