After the controversial debacle with Taylor Swift, it looks like Bad Bunny fans were the next fan base to have had a major issue with Ticketmaster.
According to NME, hundreds of Bad Bunny fans were fuming on social media after they have been turned away in Mexico City last Friday, Dec. 9, 2022.
Per fan accounts, this is because their tickets were of three things - fake, duplicates, and or canceled by Ticketmaster.
Vulture further reported that the 87,000-capacity Estadio Azteca in Mexico City was where the fiasco happened. Some fans even told CNN that their tickets were confiscated upon check-in after it was reported to be counterfeit tickets.
"@Ticketmaster has done it again, this is Bad Bunny's first stadium show in Mexico City, which is his BIGGEST market on the entire planet 10 minutes before it's supposed to start, as usual this disgusting company is denying the entry to dozens of THOUSANDS of people..." a now-viral tweet reads.
"Imagine waiting months for this concert of bad bunny in the azteca mexico and it turns out your ticket is duplicated WTF TICKETMASTER," another user posted.
Around thousands of people were reported to have been denied entry to the stadium, which was Bad Bunny's biggest arena tour in the country.
"claiming they 'cloned' their tickets or that they're already inside, this is supposed to be a 100,000 SOLD OUT show btw. The level of unprofessionalism and fraudulence is INSANE. I hope your greedy capitalistic empire gets taken down one day," the tweet further says.

After the rigorous and hectic admission, the concert still took place, but the sold-out show apparently only had 60% of its full capacity (the sold-out show expects 100,000), resulting in a low turnout.
Meanwhile, Ticketmaster issued a statement apologizing again for the inconvenience.
"The inconveniences in the accesses were the consequence of the emergence of an unprecedented number of false tickets, which caused an unusual crowd of people and an intermittent operation of our system. This generated confusion and complicated the entrance to the stadium, with the unfortunate consequence of some legitimate tickets being denied the entrance," Ticketmaster said, as translated loosely to English.
Meanwhile, Ticketmaster is offering refunds for those thousands of inconvenienced concertgoers, saying that they had electronic proof that they did not get in.
