Despite his recent behavior in the press, Kanye West is still a recipient of many awards. The latest one that he got might have been the most fitting recognition he had so far, as it really defined him.

In the past few weeks, Kanye West had been notoriously known for his antisemitism remarks, shocking everyone with the flurry of his actions that translated into catastrophic damage to him, his career, and his many businesses.

Thanks to StopAntisemitism, Kanye West was named "Antisemite of the Year" by the watchdog group.

"Kanye uses his celebrity platform to push dangerous antisemitic tropes about Jews and power and he refuses to stop. His continuous onslaught of bigoted statements has resulted in horrific antisemitic acts perpetrated by white supremacists, Black Hebrew Israelites, and other fringe groups looking to cause Jews harm," the group's executive director, Liora Rez, said in a statement to TMZ

Over the past few months, Kanye has not held back his thoughts on antisemitism, from tweeting online that he would go "deathcon3" on Jews, to barging into the Skechers HQ, a Jewish-owned brand, Kanye West had been all over the place.

"Jew hatred is already out of control in the United States and the last thing we need is a celebrity like Kanye to add fuel to that fire," Rez furthered.

The move to "honor" Ye as the Most Problematic Person of 2022 came from 10,000 votes gathered by the non-government organization.

Earlier this week, StopAntisemitism joined the call to influencers, and vloggers to stop giving Kanye West to spew lies and hate on social media.

"Anybody who gives him a platform, you're basically complicit at this point," Rez told NBC News. "The only goal of his is to spew hatred and further vilify Jews."

The call also extended to influential Twitch streamer Adin Ross, who Nick Fuentes, a known ally of West, voiced out on Twitter that Ross and West might be in for an interview soon.

However, Twitch assured that their hateful conduct policy will be enforced, saying that any "behavior that is motivated by hatred, prejudice or intolerance" will be forbidden.

The platform also noted that should a Twitch-creator-hosted show would break its policies, it will most likely take down the stream and suspend the host.
