It appears Celine Dion won't perform live again very soon, if at all.
The acclaimed Canadian singer revealed last week that she has Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare neurological disease that limits her ability to sing and has forced her to postpone her tour, which was scheduled to begin in 2023.
The singer of "My Heart Will Go On" informed her followers on Instagram that she suffers from the illness, which may induce crippling muscular spasms.
Insiders worry that Celine Dion would never perform again once her covert conflict was made public, per OK magazine.
"People had been telling me for some time that Celine would not be returning to live performance, maybe ever," said Las Vegas journalist Scott Roben.
Even though the journalist stated that Celine was "doing everything" to resume performing, she continued, "When it's Celine, it's not what you do; it's who you are."
It's much more terrible to have it taken away, he continued.
Following the first discussion about his battle with muscular spasms, Scott's insiders began to pass along information about how bad the situation was for the "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" singer.
"But Celine is the kind of person who doesn't want others to worry needlessly: Her followers are fixated on every breath she takes," the reporter continued. Every phrase is closely watched.
Those who know the singer-songwriter well say they are worried since she has battled ever since her husband René Angélil, who she had three children with, passed away from throat cancer.
Another story claimed that Celine had been struggling ever since René passed away. She had been there to safeguard her after all.
Because he handled everything for Celine, the insider referred to him as her "touchstone."
According to reports, her famous spouse handled all of her administration, money, and music creation; after his passing, everything fell apart.
There are now worries that nobody is protecting Celine Dion any longer, with some people believing that they don't have her best interests in mind.
Since her spouse was the only man she ever kissed, Celine has also made it known that she has struggled since losing him.
Her residencies have brought in nearly $681 million since her husband allegedly assisted her in negotiating her first residency with Caesars Palace in 2003.
Celine first met René in 1980.
