Is Cardi B okay?
The "WAP" hitmaker has recently appeared to be coping with a number of medical concerns, and she has even spoken to her many internet fans about her fight against a "new flu" that has hit her particularly hard.
On Sunday morning, the mom-of-two stated, "I don't like this new flu virus that's going around. It caused me the chills, sore throat and now I have a cough and my chest feels tight."
Cardi B didn't specify the type of virus she was suffering from, though.
When she posted a health update, her supporters instantly expressed their concern. One fan even agreed with her that she had felt like "dying" the week before.
"I had strain A with strep throat. Still finishing Tamiflu and medicines. Body hurts all over, chest ached and burn, shallow breathing, high temperature, and couldn't get any sleep even with pain medications."
Another fan said that when they had the illness, they also had 105-degree fevers and were on the verge of going to the hospital since they were unable to eat or perform any other activities.
Many others, however, emphasized that Cardi B's condition may be related to a recent treatment she had performed on herself.
The "Bodak Yellow" singer recently had biopolymers removed from her body.

According to the Daily Mail, Cardi B underwent surgery in August and had 95% of her biopolymers removed. She termed the treatment "a-- shots" and described the process as "very weird."
The native of New York went on to say that while growing up in the city, she experienced bullying for being underweight and felt under pressure to have larger curves. She soon began regretting her choice, though.
The rapper also advised followers to use caution while getting cosmetic procedures like the well-known Brazilian Butt Lift.
Cardi B advised people to check all of their blood levels before having this type of operation since it is advisable to avoid BBL if a person has low blood levels or an underlying medical issue.
According to Healthline, a Brazilian Butt Lift is a surgery that involves moving fat around to give the rear greater fullness.
Infections, scars, soreness, lumps under the skin in the suctioned or injected areas, loss of skin in the treated areas owing to infection, and fat embolism in the heart or lungs, which might result in death, are all potential adverse effects of the operation.
Although flu-like symptoms may appear after implant placement, there is little information on suffering these symptoms in the months following implant removal.
