Adam Lambert's wounded nose had to be Photoshopped off the cover of his forthcoming album.

The "Queen" singer and former 'American Idol' contestant Adam Lambert's nose was cut by a piece of sugar glass for the startling image of the celebrity stepping through a broken window.

In an interview with the Daily Star's Wired column, he said that his nose was cut while creating the cover for the album. He explained that during the first shot, a pane of sugar glass was dumped directly upon his head, slicing his nose open."

He also revealed that he did not hold his record label accountable for his injuries. But then, he could be saying this in jest.

After all, he was alright, despite the scary accident. What he ended up needing to do however was to modify the angle for the shoot, so as not to show the broken nose. He added that his injuries was photoshopped out of the final artwork.

The 24-February-released "High Drama" features Adam's renditions of songs by Billie Eilish, Sia, and Kings of Leon, and his most recent rendition is of "Ordinary World" by Duran Duran.

The 40-year-old performer has fronted the "We Will Rock You" group since 2012, in place of the late Freddie Mercury, and admitted he ripped off one of Mercury's inebriated vocal styles for his rendition of Lana Del Rey's 'West Coast'.

He said that his version of "Sex on Fire" had just been recorded, and his voice felt quite raw.

He also revealed that the Queen guitarist Brian May told him that Freddie Mercury wasn't feeling well when he recorded "Who Wants To Live Forever" [around 1986]. He was particularly inspired with the story that Freddie primed his voice with a shot of vodka, and he recorded his vocal in a single take. He therefore decided to do something similar.

He substituted tequila for vodka before performing this Led Zeppelin-like rendition of Lana's song in a single take.

In February, the Queen + Adam Lambert vocalist will release his first album since signing a new deal with Warner Music.

In honor of the album's release, the "For Your Entertainment" vocalist will perform a one-off event in London. The location and specifics will be revealed in January. Below is the complete tracklist for the new album:
