"Feelin' good, feelin' groovy, feelin' great!!! Nothin' keeps the Kramedog down."
This tweet from Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer, apparently also known as Kramedog, confirms that the Boston rockers would be continuing on with the "Let Rock Rule" tour after a brief break for the percussionist to deal with his recurring heart problems. After undergoing a minor procedure, Kramer will be back behind the set soon enough.
"I'm feeling better than ever and I'll be back sitting in the best seat in the house, hitting it harder than ever for our amazing fans," Kramer said in a statement more formal than his Twitter blast. "My gratitude and thanks for all the love and support showered on me during this time."
Injuries and ailments such as Kramer's mean so much more to Aerosmith fans than they do to other bands as no one really knows when Aerosmith may up and call it quits. The group has gotten through its recording contract with Columbia and that may mean no more new albums, according to guitarist Joe Perry. Whether that means no more touring is an entirely different question, but one worth considering in light of recent health issues within the band.
