Azealia Banks has stated that she will never tour Australia again.
The "212" rapper resorted to Instagram on Tuesday to express her frustrations about performing in Australia, stating that she would not return because it made her "really miserable."
The promoter said that Azealia's concert at the Tivoli in Brisbane that evening would be canceled and all ticket holders would be refunded
The singer said she's terribly sorry about the turn of the events but not really sorry about the decision. She recalled in an Instagram Stories video that the last time she was in Brisbane, people threw trash on the stage and damn near smacked her in the face with a bottle of Pepsi or whatever that trash was.
She added that this was the most like racist, most f***ing demoralizing moment in her f***ing life, and now she's on a fantastic path of self-preservation by cancelling Australia.
Azealia stated that she possessed enough emotional intelligence to eliminate opportunity for error before it occurs and added she is a beautiful Black woman, and she will not allow white folks to fling s**t at her in front of an audience.
The singer addressed "Brisbane" directly, emphasizing that she is not sorry at all. She said all of them need to take the L and smoke it."

A statement from Point Productions revealed that Azealia's Brisbane performance was canceled "due to unforeseen circumstances."
Azealia performed in Sydney on Sunday, and she is still scheduled to appear in Melbourne this coming Sunday. This is not without controversies of its own - because it also almost got cancelled.
However, on Wednesday, Dec. 14, Point Productions announced a new Melbourne venue (The Timber Yard) and date (Sunday, Dec. 18) have been locked in.
"It's on," reads the official statement from the company. "We'd like to thank everyone that purchased tickets and were patient with us while we managed to secure a new date and venue."
Azealia has performed on some of the largest stages in the world, such as Coachella, Glastonbury, and Splendour In The Grass. Sian Van Der Muelen, director of Point Productions, exclaimed before the tour that they are ecstatic to welcome Azealia back to Australia and see her perform some of her hottest hits live.
This tour has been in the works for three years, with initial delays caused by COVID. However, this has provided us with extra time to guarantee that we create one of the best consumer show experiences. Azealia recently appeared on the single "Surprise Me" from the upcoming album by Brisbane rapper Mallrat.
