Nicole Kidman has revealed how her husband, Keith Urban, paid her tribute prior to his Melbourne show on Saturday evening. This leaves no doubt in anyone's mind that Urban loves his wife very, very much.
The actress, 55, posted a photo of rocker Keith Urban, 55, wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with a promotional image for her iconic 1980s film BMX Bandits on Instagram. He wore this at his last sound check before his final show in Melbourne tonight.
He said to me, 'Look at what I'm wearing baby,'' Nicole wrote in the caption.
The star of "Moulin Rouge!" also shared a link to tickets for the Melbourne performance. Nicole and Keith have one of the strongest marriages in Hollywood, and they are not afraid to engage in public displays of affection.
In October, Nicole posted a touching birthday message for Keith on his 55th birthday. The actress posted an Instagram photo of herself and her husband kissing and embracing at an event. She captioned the image, "Happy Birthday my love... 4ever," with a series of love heart emojis.
Nicole and Keith wed on June 25, 2006, after meeting the previous year at an event. The couple exchanged vows at the Cardinal Cerretti Chapel on the St Patrick's College grounds in Manly, Sydney.
Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, Naomi Watts, and director Baz Luhrmann were among the A-list attendees. Isabella, 29, and Connor, 27, whom Nicole shares with her ex-husband Tom Cruise, served as bridesmaid and best man, respectively. In 2008 and 2010, the couple welcomed daughters Sunday Rose, 14, and Faith Margaret, 12, respectively.
The sale of Urban's master recordings to Litmus Music was announced by the music rights company on Tuesday. According to a press release, the contract includes ten studio albums and a greatest-hits compilation.
Two dozen of Urban's radio hits have topped the charts, including fan favorites "Somebody Like You," "Blue Ain't Your Color," and "Days Go By." The acquisition of Urban's music represents Litmus's first major deal since its inception this year. The company did not reveal the selling price.
Urban joins Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, and others in signing multimillion-dollar catalog deals. In contrast to other artists, Urban sold his master recording rights, potentially granting the new owner direct access to streaming and physical sales revenue. The agreement spans from Urban's 1999 self-titled major label debut to "The Speed Of Now Pt. 1" in 2020.
According to Litmus, it may also contain future releases. As part of the agreement, Litmus will continue to work closely with Urban and his management team, Borman Entertainment, as Urban continues to record his next album, due in 2023, according to a press release.
