Big Scarr, a 22-year-old rapper, has supposedly passed away, according to Gucci Mane.
The rapper from Memphis, whose true name was Alexander Woods, was a member of Mane's 1017 Records and his "Glockoma Tour 2023," and on Thursday night, the first reports of his passing began to surface.
According to The Shade Room's Instagram page, "Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this time," along with a picture of Big Scarr.
Gucci Mane confirmed the rumors in an emotional, social media post, sharing a trio of pictures of the young musician and captioning it, "This hurt."
Big Scarr Cause of Death
Big Scarr made his debut in 2020, the same year he was shot in the hip. Then someone shot him in the chest with a bullet.
On his official website, he claimed that in addition to moving, he was also aware of the approaching gunshot. His internal organs were destroyed, so in order for medical professionals to preserve him, they had to cut him in half and remove his appendix. It later enabled him to resume walking.
Fortunately, he was able to bounce back quicker than he had anticipated.
Big Scarr passed away on December 22, 2022, although the precise cause of his passing is still a mystery.
Unfounded claims, however, stated that he allegedly overdosed on drugs before passing away.
According to several reports, he allegedly overdosed on phony narcotics before meeting his lover.
Big Scarr Career
When Big Scarr released the song "Make A Play" in 2019, his musical career officially began.
He was signed to Gucci Mane's label in 2020 as a result of its instant YouTube success.
Big Scarr's mixtape "Big Grim Reaper," which was published in 2021, is said to be his most well-known work. The album's deluxe edition was only recently made available.
Other Memphis Rappers Who Died
Big Scarr's death occurs soon after the passing of two other rappers from Memphis.
On November 17, 2021, Young Dolph passed away after being shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in Memphis.
He died from gunshot wounds to the head, neck, and body, according to the Shelby County Medical Examiner. Homicide was declared as the cause of death.
According to E News, the rapper was shot 22 times before he passed away.
On February 26, 2022, Snootie Wild passed away after being shot in Houston, Texas. He was discovered in a ditch in Southside Houston with head and neck gunshot wounds.
