After finding that Celine Dion was left off of Rolling Stone's list of the 200 greatest singers of all time, fans were furious.

Many followers criticized "the audacity" of the magazine on social media.

The singer of the classic song "My Heart Will Go On" is renowned for her strong vocals and for having sold more than 200 million CDs worldwide.

Celine is regarded as one of Canada's best-selling artists and has won several honors, including two Honorary Doctorates in Music and five Grammys. Additionally, she received 20 JUNO Awards, 12 World Music Awards, and six American Music Awards.

Who Was Included in Rolling Stones' 200 Greatest?

The magazine created a comprehensive list of the 200 best musicians in music history.

Aretha Franklin topped the list, followed by Whitney Houston, Sam Cooke, and Billie Holiday.

Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce Knowles-Carter, Otis Redding, and Al Green are in front of Mariah Carey in order of popularity.

Fans vented their annoyance on Twitter because Celine Dion was unable to be seen.

"The arrogance to place MJ at position 86 and exclude Celine Dion," said one individual. "Delete!"

A second user wrote, "They need to make it 201 and repair it right away."

The Real Reason Celine Dion Was Snubbed From Rolling Stone 200 Greatest Singers?

However, a lot of her supporters think that she was passed over for the list because of a now-viral video.

The description for the video described Celine Dion's conversation with ABC as one in which she "said the truth and did not miss."

The singer of "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" may be heard discussing how frequently publications send out critics to her concert, such as "People who like heavy rock but then they send these poor guys to see a romantic show, to see people who are gonna sing a ballad."

"Of course, I am not gonna like it," she went on to say.

When the interviewer asked if it hurt her, she responded, "I am one of the artists who sells most records and we have sold out shows, so if they say to me this this and that, it makes me mad in a way and angry, that they think that all of those people who are buying my records and come and see my sold-out shows are stupid and all wrong."

"She doesn't need to be recognized," social media users instantly responded when the video went viral. "The entire world is aware of who Celine Dion is," someone tweeted.

Another fan praised Celine as "one of the finest singers ever" and "a wonderful performer."
