Jessie J has a very important announcement to share with fans as she took to social media to reveal that she's finally expecting her first baby almost two years after her tragic miscarriage and health woes.
Taking to her official Instagram account, the "Thunder" songstress shared an emotional video that begins with a positive pregnancy test.
The clip, which has the song "Sunflower" playing in the background, then featured a few montages of ultrasound, her baby bump, as well as the singer herself smiling throughout the process.
In the caption, the "Price Tag" hitmaker said she's so happy and terrified at the same time so she's asking fans to be "gentle" with her.
"Honestly, ya girl just wants to ugly cry in public in a catsuit eating a chocolate covered pickle with no questions asked," she added.
Jessie J Previously Suffered a Tragic Miscarriage
In November of 2021, Jessie J shared a tragic news to fans, saying that she lost her pregnancy and she found out about it ahead of her show in Los Angeles, California.
Explaining what happened, the musician said her doctors told her earlier that week that the baby had no longer a heartbeat after having her third scan.
Initially, Jessie J was worried about revealing the news to her fans, but since she suffered a miscarriage, she's more worried about how she would address the matter.
Despite experiencing a great loss, the singer decided to continue her show not just for her fans, but also for her baby.
In the same post, the musician revealed that it was her own decision to have a baby by herself because it's all she ever wanted.
Months after, the singer shared an update regarding her situation, saying she's nearly 35 and there have been days where she grieves for the baby she lost and it was not easy for her.
"Some days the grief of losing a baby and it not being easy to have one, and wanting my life in that way to look completely different to what it looks like right now just overwhelms me," she wrote.
Prior to her miscarriage, the British singer also suffered from a medical condition called Meniere's disease which left her temporarily deaf and had difficulty in walking.
