Kanye West's absence has been sparking more claims.

West is yet to be found after Daily Loud first reported in December that the rapper's former business manager, Thomas St. John, declared him missing. He said he could not find him anywhere to serve him with legal documents following a breach of contract.

As the buzz continues, Newsweek revealed that a recent hair-raising theory suggests that Illuminati might be behind the act. West previously dropped damaging statements against the secret society.

In 2010, the 45-year-old rapper posted since-deleted tweets in which he joked that the secret society "controls" major organizations in the world. He also accused it of "manipulating finances and dictating policy to usher in 'the new world order'."

"I've got question about 'the illuminati' ... what is it exactly ??? ... and why do people think pop stars have a membership???!!! LOL," he said. "Is illuminati and devil worshipping like the same thing ... do they have a social network that celebs can sign up for?"

The event happened again in 2015 when he wrote his cover story for Paper Magazine. He said that the launch of Tidal, Jay-Z's subscription-based streaming service, looked like an "Illuminati moment."

But before the Illuminati speculations emerged, West was also embroiled in damming issues after he continuously dropped antisemitic messages.

Apart from the Illuminati-related claims, there were also fans who assumed him dead. HITC, on the other hand, debunked the claims.

Where Is Kanye West?

While West remains out of the public's eyes, a report about his rumored appearance at a festival in Ghana surfaced after DJ Ebenezer Donkoh shared an update on Twitter.

He seemingly hinted at the rapper's appearance at the Black Star Line Festival, writing, "I'm gathering info that Kanye West will be the surprise act at the Black Star Line Festival in Ghana this weekend."

It remains unknown whether he appeared - or will appear - at the Jan. 6 event. The festival, so far, confirmed performances of T-Pain, Vic Mensa, Tobe Nwigwe, Chance The Rapper, Jeremih, Erykah Badu, and more music acts.

Meanwhile, Barstool Sports podcaster Rone said he saw West having dinner at the Amangiri resort in Utah. He claimed that he saw West's biggest smile during the outing as he talked with another couple.
