As previously reported, Christina Aguilera gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Now she's revealed the name of her and fiancé Matt Rutler's daughter on Twitter (via E!): Summer Rain Rutler.
"So proud to welcome our beautiful daughter Summer Rain Rutler into the world," Aguilera tweeted.
The 33-year-old singer delivered the baby via C-section. She did not disclose other birth details, such as her daughter's measurements.
Aguilera and Rutler announced that they were expecting last February, one week after their Valentine's Day engagement. The couple met on the 2010 set of Burlesque, Aguilera's debut on the big screen.
This is the second child for Aguilera, who has a 6-year-old song Max Liron with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman, whom she divorced in 2010.
Aguilera is taking off season 6 of The Voice to spend more time with her family and work on her music career. Shakira will be filling in for the new mother until she returns for its eighth season.
Aguilera's pregnancy didn't keep the singer from hitting the studio. Just last week she posted an Instagram photo of her in the studio with the caption: "Baby girl getting first listen to what mama's been creating in the studio."
