This weekend, Jesy Nelson made a geographical error when she stated that Kent was in Essex, despite being a native of the county. Is this a blunder, or an outright lie to her new boyfriend?
The 31-year-old "Boyz" singer filmed a conversation she was having with her new boyfriend Zion Foster, who inquired about the star's hometown by asking which towns qualify as Essex.
She then asserted that he was from the county because he resided in Kent, incorrectly equating Kent with Chelmsford on the basis that they were both located within Essex. Jesy and Zion were joking around while he imitated an Essex accent and asked questions about the county.
Informing his girlfriend that he had a question, the R&B singer asked, "Where exactly is Essex?"
The former Little Mix star replied: 'Where you live. Baby, you live in Kent - that's Essex. So you technically are an Essex boy. "'So I think you need to change this clobber that you've got on for a Ralph Lauren top, you're an imposter." she added. Jesy claimed that Kent was in Essex, despite the fact that the two counties are approximately 50 minutes apart and are in separate locations.

The singer was born in Romford and currently resides in a luxurious home in Essex while spending a considerable amount of time in Los Angeles. Her error occurred after she reportedly began filming a music video for her unreleased new single with her ex-boyfriend Harry James.
Jesy Nelson is rumored to release her first single since her debut song Boyz in 2021, following her departure from record label Polydor this year. And it appears that her ex-boyfriend Harry, who "masterminded" the controversial music video for Boyz, is back on board for the second song. Harry began dating Jesy in 2017, and the couple dated for 16 months before breaking up; however, they have since collaborated on numerous occasions. The Sun reports that Jesy recorded the video under the direction of Harry.
Previously, Jesy Nelson gave fans a tour of the room she plans to convert into a home recording studio. After leaving the band at the conclusion of 2020, Jesy Nelson's fans have observed that she has kept some Little Mix memorabilia in her residence.
It was specifically on Instagram Stories where Jesy gave her fans a tour of her home and disclosed that she intends to construct a recording studio in one of her spare rooms. Little Mix fans noticed album covers and framed posters in the background as the performer ascended a flight of stairs.
Jesy left Little Mix in 2020, citing a negative impact on her mental health, and began her solo career the following year with the release of the single "Boyz." However, she later left her record label Polydor and has since pursued independent recording opportunities.
