Shakira isn't one to give up without a fight, and she's proved this to everyone so many times throughout her struggle to keep her marriage afloat.

The "Hips Don't Lie" singer is back again with a new song dedicated to her ex-husband Gerard Pique, but it's not as subtle as her previous releases; this one is direct to the point.

The new song is simply titled "BZRP Music Session #53," perhaps mostly due to the fact Shakira collaborated with Argentine musician DJ Bizarrap, however, it also seems like this could be one of many songs they have worked on, given that it says number 53.

According to Hypebae, the lyrics of the new song follows Shakira's experience with her ex's affair, which was highly publicized, and compared herself to her "replacement."

"You left me the in-laws as my neighbors/ Media outlets at my door and in debt / You thought you hurt me, but you made me stronger/ Women don't cry anymore, they cash in."

"I wish you good luck with my supposed replacement/ I don't even know what happened to you. You are so strange that I can't even distinguish you/ I'm worth two of 22 [year-old]/ You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo/ You traded a Rolex for a Casio."

"BZRP Music Session #53" comes after the release of Shakira's other music "Te Feicito" and "Monotonia, which are both heavily inspired and influenced by the Colombian singer's life and relationship.

She has been very vocal about the matter, in fact, in an Instagram post, she reflected on betrayal: "Even if someone has betrayed us, we have to keep trusting. In the face of contempt, keep valuing yourself.

"Our tears are not a waste; they water the soil where the future will be born and make us more human, so in the midst of heartbreak, we can continue to love."

Another Blow

The release of Shakira's new song actually comes just days after new updates regarding Pique's affair with Clara Chia Marti.

According to Page Six, the "Whenever, Whenever" singer was shocked to find out that Pique's affair had been going on much longer than she initially thought.

When Pique and Marti began seeing each other is still unknown information, but during an online interview Pique had that dates back to 2021, fans noticed the 23-year-old girlfriend somewhere in the background.

The news devastated Shakira, who apparently thought that she and Pique were "happily together" at the time.

A source told Page Six: "They were very much still together at that time. It's devastating for her to learn that this affair had been going on for a lot longer than she imagined."
