After being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Dolly Parton is finally having her very first rock album!

The country music star was inducted at the Rock Hall last year despite initial hesitations about accepting the nomination. For her, she didn't deserve to be inducted among other rockers.

However, later on, she finally gave in and accepted the induction wholeheartedly. But at the time, Dolly had already hinted a rock project even before she was even nominated.

She has since expressed wanting to collaborate with huge rock acts like Mick Jagger, and The Rolling Stones, among many others. She even attributed her love for rock music because of his husband, Carl Thomas Dean.

"My husband is a big hard rock 'n' roll fan, and for years I thought, 'One of these days I'd like to do an album mainly just for him, just to kind of do it.," she said.

Months after she was finally inducted, she has now revisited the idea and even revealed with who she wants to collaborate.

"If I'm gonna be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame I'm gonna have to do something to earn it," she said in an interview with The View.

Mick Jagger, whom Dolly said before that she wanted to onboard with the project, is still in the convincing process: "I'm doing my best to try to get him on, but I did his song anyway," she said. "I think P!nk and Brandi Carlile are going to be singing on that particular song with me."

Aside from P!nk, Brandi Carlile, and Mick Jagger, Dolly also shocked everyone as she namedropped every rock artist who had already said yes to her huge undertaking.

Parton said that Paul McCartney, Stevie Nicks, John Fogerty, Journey vocalist Steve Perry, and Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler were already included in her A-list rock album collaborators.

But aside from those, Dolly is also looking for the right track where she could invite her good friend Cher on the album - saying that she's still looking for the right material to jive in with the Goddess of Pop.

Describing the project to be a "big thrill," Dolly furthered that she would have a mix of originals like "Rockin," and song covers of Prince's "Purple Rain," Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Free Bird," and Journey's hit song "Open Arms."
