She has made a significant impact on listeners throughout generations. She has also served as the inspiration for many of the artists we obsess over on the main stage today. One of the most impressive accomplishments of the performer is that she actually wrote two of her most iconic songs EVER on the same day. That's right. We are talking about "Jolene" and "I Will Always Love You." Both of those well-known songs were created on the same day. (What a day it was!) For those who are sitting there scratching your heads, yes, Dolly Parton was the original creator of the song "I Will Always Love You." She recorded and released the number back in 1974 where it was then a chart topper. The song was re-popularized when Whitney Houston took it on.
