Madonna was hurled with crazy insults by Piers Morgan ahead of her 40th anniversary world tour. While many critics have criticized Piers Morgan for "misogynistic" remarks he made about Madonna, his words naturally could have stung the artist and it is also likely that some would even echo the same sentiments.

Morgan, 57, stated on Wednesday's (18 January) episode of his TalkTV talk show Piers Morgan Uncensored that the "Vogue" singer, 64, should be "put out to pasture" and referred to her as a "hot mess."

He then criticized the manner in which the musician announced "Madonna: The Celebration Tour," a recently announced world tour that will visit 35 cities. The singer announced the news in a video featuring Diplo, Jack Black, Lil Wayne, and Amy Schumer, as well as a reference to her 1991 film "Truth or Dare."

Morgan criticized the artist's attire and creative expression on the basis of her age. He charged Madonna with "trying to be a sex kitten when you're in your sixties."

The presenter brought up a series of explicit social media images that the musician had previously posted. Morgan stated on the show to co-host Jeremy Kyle that he believes she has become the most grotesque, trainwreck embarrassment in the history of world entertainment.

On social media, however, viewers were shocked by the broadcaster's remarks, which have been labeled "misogynistic" by some. The Independent has contacted Piers Morgan's representatives for comment.

Piers should cover his mouth, regardless of whether or not older women should cover their bodies, one person tweeted.

Other viewers brought up Morgan's lengthy criticism of the "Hung Up" singer.

They said Piers Morgan's ageist comments about Madonna are nothing new, considering that he's been making them since she was in her early thirties.

In 2022, the host of "Britain's Got Talent "referred to the musician as "attention-seeking" and "utterly ridiculous" and has a history of criticizing the pop star's fashion choices and public persona.

On Twitter, a user demanded that the broadcaster apologize for his misogynistic remarks about Madonna tonight when he referred to her as a sweaty mess. He's a hypocrite, most said.

While the TalkTV host claimed he would say the same thing about older male musicians, another Twitter user asked if he would really say the same thing about Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart, and many more prominent male artists.

From July to October, Madonna will perform her four decades of hits, including "Material Girl," "Like A Virgin," and "Holiday," in arenas across North America on her "The Celebration Tour."
