Jennifer Lopez experienced "a little bit of PTSD" prior to her marriage to Ben Affleck. This is the real reason why they ended up getting married twice, one just the two of them, and another much grander wedding.

Due to the fact that the couple's previous engagement "failed," the singer questioned whether their second attempt to tie the knot was "really happening," she told Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday.

The 53-year-old Grammy winner recalled that planning the wedding was so stressful, despite the fact that they were so happy that it was occurring.

Lopez stated that Affleck conceived of their Las Vegas wedding in July 2022.

The dancer shared that because of the stress that she was feeling, which did not go unnoticed, one day, Ben simply told her to just go to Las Vegas and get married that night itself,

He then told her to attend a rehearsal and promised that once she returned, he will have everything prepared.

After tying the knot in Sin City, the couple remarried in front of family and friends in Georgia one month later. Lopez and the 50-year-old Oscar winner were engaged from 2002 to 2004. In 2021, the "Gigli" co-stars reignited their romance.

At that time, the songwriter had recently broken up with Alex Rodriguez. Lopez was formerly wed to Marc Antony, with whom she shares 14-year-old twins Emme and Maximilian. The "Tender Bar" actor Affleck married Jennifer Garner in 2005. Prior to their 2015 divorce, Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 10, were born to the exes.

After Lopez and Affleck reconciled, the actor proposed with a green diamond ring.

"He had to ask me again," Lopez said on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" of the April 2022 bathtub proposal. She even said something in the likes of "I no longer owned that [ring]."

Affleck revealed to Vogue in November 2022 about their second-chance romance, describing Lopez as "exactly the person he remembers from twenty years ago." The Golden Globe winner added that perhaps she sees all the changes that he has made, but when he personally saw her, he primarily saw someone who has, against all odds, retained the characteristic that has always struck him as the most remarkable.

Now, Lopez has stated that she and her husband might reunite on the big screen. They co-starred in the 2003 film "Gigli," which was a critical and commercial failure. But she loved working with him so she can see herself doing it again Lopez also stated that her new album, "This Is Me... Now," does not yet have a release date, but she is likely to tour or book a Las Vegas residency in support of its release. Lopez stated, "The album is complete, and we're just preparing the best time to release it, rolling it out gradually, and deciding how we want to do that." It is such a special project because it represents the culmination of a 20-year journey from album to album.

In "Shotgun Wedding," Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel play a couple whose tropical destination wedding goes awry when their guests are kidnapped. Lenny Kravitz portrays Lopez's ex-boyfriend in the film directed by Jason Moore. Lopez and Kravitz informed me that they discussed recording a song for the soundtrack together. "However, we're both so busy that we barely made it to the premiere," Lopez joked. On January 27, "Shotgun Wedding" will premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
