We are inching closer and closer to the announcement of this year's iHeart Music Award winners, and we are locking in our predictions.

People everywhere are getting excited about this year's iHeart Music Awards. This was a year filled with some excellent music, which means each category is filled with incredibly stiff competition. Each nomination is incredibly well deserved. It is nearly impossible to figure out who will be walking away with a new accolade. That doesn't mean we won't try to figure it out.

What fun would this all be if we didn't try to set our predictions about who might win this year's awards? In part one of our predictions, which can be seen here, we locked in our guesses about who would walk home with the awards for Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration, and Best Duo/Group. Now, we are going to be placing our bets on three more.

These are our predictions of who will win Song of the Year, Alternative Song of the Year, and Latin Pop/Reggaeton Artist of the Year at the 2023 iHeart Music Awards.

Prediction #1: Song of the Year - "Anti-Hero"

Yes, we know that Taylor Swift seems to be making an appearance on every prediction list that we have, but it makes sense, right? It seems like there can be little question that "Anti-Hero" is a favorite to win. Since the song's release in October, it has remained unwaveringly in the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100. This is the eigth week total that the song has been on the Billboard Hot 100. In fact, it is coming up on the ninth. The song has now surpassed "Blank Space" which held the top spot for seven weeks straight.

There are of course other exceptional songs nominated in this category. Songs such as "About Damn Time" by Lizzo and "As It Was" by Harry Styles have delighted us all year. In reality, it could still be anyone's game. However, based on the sheer number of records that the song has broken, we find ourselves rooting for this anti-hero.

Prediction #2: Alternative Song of the Year - "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)"

It only took 38 years, but we think that Kate Bush will be walking out with the award for Alternative Song of the Year. Stranger Things put this song back on the map, and the world has gone crazy over it. "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)" became an anthem of 2022-2023. It is a song that was clearly ahead of its time. Well, that time is now, and it only makes sense that it would be recognized as such.

Of course, this 80s bop is nominated alongside other excellent alternative songs that came out more recently. "Enemy" by Imagine Dragons, for example, could prove to be a stiff competitor. However, good things come to those who wait, and we believe that that will be the case with "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)" .

Prediction #3: Latin Pop/Reggaeton Artist of the Year - Bad Bunny

If we had to guess (and, well, that's what this entire article is) we are going to lock in Bad Bunny as our predicted winner for Latin Pop/Reggaeton Artist of the Year. Not only has Bad Bunny been a consistent chart topper and fan favorite, but two of his songs are also nominated in the category Latin Pop/Reggaeton Song of the Year. If we are looking to figure out the winner for Latin Pop/Reggaeton Artist of the Year, it feels like a safe bet to say the winner the one who has the most songs nominated in the category.

However, by that standard alone, there is another competitor of equal standing. Karol G also has two songs nominated in the Latin Pop/reggaeton Song of the Year category. While it was difficult to solidify our prediction between these too, we ultimately had to go with Bad Bunny.

And Thus Concludes

Our second round of predictions for this year's iHeart Music Awards. Keep checking back in as we continue to make predictions until the winners are announced.
