The biopic of Amy Winehouse's life is already drawing criticism despite it is still in the development phase.
New images from the impending biography have surfaced, showing an unhappy period in the singer's life.
Actor Jack O'Connell, who plays Amy Fielder-husband Civil's in the film "Back to Black," may be seen being led away by police while wearing handcuffs in production photos.
Marisa Abela, the award-winning singer, was portrayed by an actress who appeared to be very upset.
During last week's filming of stressful scenes outside the troubled star's old home in Camden, North London, Marisa is alleged to have yelled and begged the police not to take her husband away.
The sequence is thought to be based on Blake's real-life arrest in 2007, when he was taken into custody while wearing handcuffs for a $220,000 trial-fixing scheme.
The images, which have Marisa wearing the singer's trademark hairdo and leopard print outfit, have provoked outrage on social media and among her followers.
One user on Twitter referred to the images of Marissa portraying Amy and appearing upset as "revolting."
Another person said that the real Amy was "amazing," and they were confident that many fans wouldn't see "this crap" when movie was released in theaters.
A third Twitter user expressed their disgust, saying, "I'm so sick of biopics & trauma-porn. Stop exploiting DEAD women. Let Amy Winehouse rest in peace !!"
