Pamela Anderson's life was thrown back into the spotlight "Pam & Tommy" was released, but she wants nothing to do with it, and instead, tells her own story.
Netflix, in return, will release a documentary titled "Pamela, A Love Story," which will give the actress-slash-model a chance to talk about what really happened and how the media and mini-series did her dirty.
"I have no desire to watch it," Anderson said during an interview for the Netflix documentary. "I never watched the tape, I'm never going to watch this."
According to Entertainment Weekly, the 55-year-old went as far as to say that the mini-series actually "gives [her] nightmares"; and rightfully so, because "Pam & Tommy" focused on the stolen sex tape of herself and her ex-husband Tommy Lee, as well as the ensuing legal battle that came after it.

The traumatizing events were not only cemented by the media but was reinforced by the mini-series, whose producers, she claims, did not ask for her consent before making the mini-series.
"They should have had my permission," Anderson said. "Nobody really knows what we were going through at the time."
Her sons with Lee, Brandon, 26, and Dylan, 25, were also both interviewed for the Netflix documentary.
"Why bring something up from 20 years ago that you know f***ed someone up?" Dylan said.
Other sources close to Anderson echoed these sentiments: "After the tape was made public, it was a very traumatizing situation and it's unfair that she is being re-subjected to this trauma, like re-opening a wound."
"Pamela deserves a level of respect. She's a human being and a mom. There's a sense of hypocrisy about it."
According to reports, Anderson wasn't doing quite well after the sex tape fiasco, and in fact, was "[missing in action] even to [herself]."
"I was drinking, I was trying drugs - so not me. I just went off the rails," she explained but added that her children is the reason why she decided to step into the light and tell her story.
"Brandon and Dylan are true miracles, considering their gene pool," said the "Baywatch" star. "They have been through so much, yet they are not full of holes."
"I think we really let our kids down. And that's something it's really hard for me to forgive myself about. We should have found a way through it. I couldn't accept any kind of violent maneuver."
"Pamela Anderson, A Love Story" will be released on Netflix on Jan. 31.
