Miley Cyrus' era is upon us!

Her lead single, "Flowers," for her upcoming new album, "Endless Summer Vacation," has debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100 charts after a head-to-head fight with Taylor Swift's record-setting "Anti-Hero" and SZA's "Kill Bill."

In a Tweet, Miley thanked her fans for the unyielding support that they have showered her ever since the track was released online.

"Thankful that Flowers is Number 1 around the world. This song is dedicated to my fans & the steadfast self love I wish for each of you. Forever grateful, Miley," she posted.

Along with the tweet, which has now amassed almost 100,000 likes and over 10,000 retweets, Cyrus posted behind-the-scenes footage of the "Flowers" music video.

"we thank you @MileyCyrus for giving us a hymn that teaches us to love ourselves," a fan tweeted.

"PROUD! This is just the beginning," another said.

According to Billboard, Miley's recent hit was a massive success because of five strategic reasons. This is because the song was released shortly after her successful New Year's Eve NBC Special with godmother, Dolly Parton, and she found hitmakers like Tyler Johnson and Kid Harpoon. Aside from this, the song sent fans and TikTokers into a rabbit hole after fan theories about the lyrics seemed to be pointing out her ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth.

Fan theories had also led to believe that the song was a subliminal indirect answer to Bruno Mars' "When I Was Your Man," a song believed to have been dedicated to Cyrus by Liam Hemsworth at the time.

The song was a colossal success since its release; it even broke Spotify's single-week streaming record and has topped various streaming charts and hit charts across the globe, like in the United Kingdom, Portugal, and Australia, among many others.

Billboard reports that the song has garnered more than 52 million streams, 33.5 million radio airplay impressions, and 70,000 downloads on its first week.

Just for streaming units alone, Miley dominated the charts and can secure the top spot already. "Flowers" is Miley's second No. 1 hit, but her first song ever to debut at the top spot. Her song, "Wrecking Ball", reached number one, after debuting at No. 50 in 2013. It is now the 65th song in Billboard history to launch atop the charts.
