It looks like we will be singing one big superstar to strut down the Grammy's Red Carpet premiere as Adele, the third most nominated artist of the night has confirmed her attendance at the 95th Annual Grammy Awards.
Music's Biggest Night is finally returning to Los Angeles, California, at the Dolby Theatre after it was relocated to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas last year.
Earlier this week, the Recording Academy just announced the first wave of artists who will be performing on the show.
Bad Bunny, Brandi Carlile, Mary J Blige, Lizzo, Steve Lacy, Luke Combs, Sam Smith, and Kim Petras were the announced 2023 Grammy performers.
While a bunch of singers was already slated to appear and perform on the show, some fans are still expecting the arrival and performance of bigger artists like Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Adele, and Harry Styles.
According to a Hits Daily Double report, inside sources have revealed that Adele would not be performing nor attending the music show, a first from her attendance at the Grammys.
Adele has been nominated 25 times at the Grammys and has already gone home with 15 gramophones. This year, she was nominated for seven awards, including Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Music Video, Record of the Year, Best Musical Film, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Pop Solo Performance.
In the past, Adele had never missed a show for which she had been nominated, which surprised many with the rumors that she "bowed out" this time. The rumor initially made sense because the Grammys 2023 will be taking place during her highly-anticipated Las Vegas Residency.
According to Pop Crave, Adele has debunked the rumors about her absence from the Grammys.
"Who said I wasn't going? Whoever started that rumor is a dickhead cause I am going. I would never miss the Grammys!" she said, according to the outlet.
Adele's attendance, however, does not guarantee that she will actually be performing at the coming show. Meanwhile, another Hits Daily Double source revealed that The Recording Academy's TV committee was still negotiating on bagging either Taylor Swift or Beyonce for the show.
But up until now, there have been no significant updates on who will be performing on the upcoming show.
