Britney Spears was "freaked out" when police were called to her house to check on her welfare after fans reported that she was not acting right.
The "Baby One More Time" singer abruptly deactivated her Instagram account last week after they had done so, prompting several of her fans to phone the police out of fear for her wellbeing.
On Tuesday, police went to her residence out of an excess of caution but found no cause to believe she was in danger.
The Princess of Pop updated her tens of millions of Instagram followers on Sunday by reactivating the account.
In addition, she said that 13 years after being released from her conservatorship, she was still getting acclimated to life without regulations.
The 41-year-old award-winning singer wrote, "I don't think so limited ... I feel younger and in awe ... unfortunately I'm boring as hell and drink hot chocolate at night !!"
Britney said last week that her fans who called the authorities for her safety had gone "a bit too far." She said that her privacy had been violated, the report had "once again" portrayed her in an unfavorable light, and she had experienced bullying and gaslighting.
The pop singer is apparently looking at the bright side and is doing okay in spite of everything.
The "Toxic" singer is concentrating on writing her book and keeping a good view on life, a source told the Daily Mail.
"She's doing okay," one insider revealed to the outlet. "She's navigating this new life, finishing her book. It's a process but she's getting there."
