Dolly Parton has been working on a new rock album, but she is yet to score the rocker's "yes" to join her project.

Following her induction to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Parton decided to create a whole new rock & roll album for her fans. Ahead of its release, the crooner sat down for an interview with USA TODAY and revealed further details about her collaborators.

Her double album, "Rock Star," will arrive in late summer or early fall. It will reportedly include 28 tracks she recorded with several A-list musicians.

Among the songs she revealed include "What Has Rock 'n Roll Ever Done For Me" with Stevie Nicks, a yet-to-be-named track with Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, "My Blue Tears" with Duran Duran's Simon LeBon, "Let It Be" with Paul McCartney, "Long As I Can See the Light" with John Fogerty, and "Open Arms" with Steve Perry.

Parton revealed she is still working to have Annie Lennox and Cher record Eurythmics' song "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)."

But despite having these artists on board, the singer revealed she is still trying to get Mick Jagger,

"I wanted a song for just me and Mick - '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction' - and Brandi and Pink are now singing on it. I'm still waiting for Mick to come on back. He might come through. If not, I'll kick his bony ass when I see him!" she quipped.

Dolly Parton Always Feels Thrilled Whenever She Speaks With Mick Jagger

Before her recent interview, Parton opened up in an interview with People in November that there are three celebrities who leave her starstruck.

She then named the three, mentioning Elton John, Mick Jagger, and Debbie Harry's names.

Aside from Parton, her husband Carl Dean, is also a fan of Jagger. She told E! News before the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony that the rock album would be a love letter to her husband.

She also noted that it would include Jagger's songs. Thus, she aims to get the rocker on board in her rock album.

"He loves Mick Jagger, he loves 'Satisfaction' - those kinds of songs. I'm hoping to have Elton John. I'm hoping to have just a lot of the big classic artists singing some of the classic songs," she went on.

Jagger is yet to respond to Parton's request.
