Music executives are reportedly launching an audacious effort to bring Beyoncé to The BRIT Awards next month.
Sony music officials and the superstar's team have engaged in high-level conversations regarding her attendance at the February 11 event at London's O2, where she has been nominated for two awards, including International Artist of the Year.
Beyoncé's presence at the award event would be beneficial, as she is nominated for International Song of the Year for her track "Break My Soul."
MailOnline revealed from an insider, that there have been serious conversations at the top of the record company for Beyoncé to perform live at the BRITs; having the world's biggest superstar attend the ceremony would be a huge coup. She has previously attended The BRITs and views the event as a significant point in the music calendar and an opportunity to engage with her European fan base.
The insider also alleged that it is typical for some of the larger acts playing at the event to be finalized days in advance, so a deal may be finalized at the last minute. However, there has been significant effort to bring her to the event, and for her to perform would be the ideal scenario.
Moreover, this insider also revealed that the ceremony's program is set, so if Beyoncé were to perform, there would need to be a reshuffle, but it's more probable that she will be present as a guest.
Both the BRIT Awards and Beyoncé's representative are yet to comment.

The BRITs, which will be hosted for the second time this year by comedian Mo Gilligan, have already announced that Harry Styles, Lizzo, and Stormzy will perform that evening.
Later this week, managers will announce the final star performance of the festive evening. Alongside Beyoncé, Lizzo is nominated for International Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year for her smash "About Damn Time."
Beyoncé returned to the stage for the first time in four years on Saturday, when she sang XO, I Care, Halo, and Naughty Girl during the opening of the ultra-luxurious hotel Atlantis The Royal.
She delighted the crowd by bringing her 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy to perform with her on the Grammy-winning song Brown Skin Girl, and the night closed with a dazzling display of fireworks as she sang Drunk in Love.
Meanwhile, on "Music's Biggest Night," all eyes will be on Beyonce as she attempts to extend her record-setting streak of Grammy wins. Queen Bey, who is already the most-awarded performing artist in Grammy history with 28 awards, leads all competitors with nine nominations for the 2023 ceremony. This brings her total lifetime nominations to an astounding 88, tying her with husband Jay-Z for the most ever. Indeed, the trophy case in the Bey and Jay residence must be a sight to behold.
Yet, Queen Bey, despite all her incredible success at the awards show throughout the decades, will be looking to add to her collection in whole new ways when the Grammys are handed out on Feb. 5 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Standing in the way of Beyonce's quest for wins No. 29-37 is a fairly remarkable bunch of talent, including hip-hop star Kendrick Lamar with eight nominations.
Adele and Brandi Carlile are close behind with seven nods each. And there are a half-dozen musicians - including Mary J. Blige and Harry Styles - who have garnered six nominations.
