Sleep Token has been taking over the UK underground scene for years and many fans are still wondering about their origins and true identities because they hide behind the mask whenever they perform publicly.

According to NME, many fans have gathered at the band's recent concert. All members of the group are dressed in cloaks while wearing masks and doesn't have any footwear; their bodies were also painted with black.

Even though they have been in the industry for nearly seven years, they found massive fame in recent weeks as Loudwire reported that they went from having less than 300,000 listeners on Spotify to 1.58 million. They amassed new supporters who are eager to get to know them better.

Sleep Token has released several singles in the past and their most popular one being "The Summoning." They're also set to release a new album called "Take Me Back to Eden" soon, but details still remain private.

Compared to other bands who uses different identites on stage while wearing masks like Slipknot, the only thing that the public know about the group is its frontman named Vessel.

More recently, many fans took to social media and tried to guess the real person behind Vessel, with some people jokingly guessing that it's Brendon Urie, who recently announced the disbandment of Panic! At The Disco.

"Brendon Urie accepting that he needs to end Panic! At The Disco because his side-band Sleep Token is now the main band," one wrote.

Other people pointed out that it might be Andrew W.K., writing, "Andrew WK disappeared and formed Sleep Token."

However, one of the most popular guesses swirling around Twitter is that Sleep Token is the band Don Broco, with one user writing, "All this contemplation over who Sleep Token's singer is when the answer is right in front of us: Rob from Don Broco."

"Seen the theory that Sleep Token is Don Broco's side project, that's wild," another one wrote.

As of this writing, none of the musical acts mentioned above has reacted on the matter.

Aside from a reported upcoming album, Sleep Token will also go on tour this year, beginning at the Takedown Festival 2023 in Portsmouth, United Kingdom, on April 8.

They will also head to Australia and a few cities in Europe. For the complete tour dates and information about tickets, details are available on their official website.
