Recently, fans were surprised after Beyoncé announced that she would be going on a world tour after not performing in her own headlining concerts for years. However, many online users are already complaining ahead of the ticket presale because of the ticket provider that the musician has partnered with.
According to Forbes, the mega pop star is teaming up with Ticketmaster as the provider of her highly-anticipated Renaissance World Tour. In order to secure passes, supporters can sign up through the company's Verified Fan System which will limit scalpers of buying tickets in order to resell them.
However, there are already multiple fans who have been complaining in the wake of her pre-sale, with one user writing, "@Ticketmaster LISTEN TO ME AND LISTEN GOOD! I do NOT play about BEYONCé GISELLE KNOWLES - CARTER! I BETTER GET MY TICKET HASSLE FREE AND BOT FREE! AND IT IS BLACK HISTORY MONTH! TRY ME IF YOU WANT TO!"
Another user chimed in and expressed that the company should have a "quiz" before fans could have access to tickets, writing, "there needs to be a Beyoncé quiz on ticketmaster before you're allowed to buy tickets, cause i'll be damned if people who think halo is her best song get a ticket and i dont."
Beyoncé's Fans in The UK Already Complaining Ahead of Presale
On the other hand, Ticketmaster UK has already announced its partnership with Beyoncé and it appears that there are some fans who are already having difficulties regarding registration.
One user noted that they have been trying to register for the Verified Fan Presale for her show in London, United Kingdom, but the website keeps on redirecting them to the presale in the United States.
Another fan shared a similar concern, writing, "@ticketmasteruk how do i sign up for the beyhive presale if i'm in the uk. it's only working for the us."
Although the ticket provider did not respond to the concerns mentioned above, other fans noted that the presale is just available in the US and for those who already signed up via Beyoncé's official website, but the company has yet to confirm whether these are true.
The recent complaints come a few months after Taylor Swift fans had experienced problems regarding Ticketmaster's Verified Fan Presale as many of them weren't able to secure tickets to her concert despite waiting for hours.
The company's official website has also crashed, leading the presale to be canceled, because of "extraordinarily high demands on ticketing systems and insufficient remaining ticket inventory to meet that demand."
Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour will kick off at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, on May 10. Details regarding the complete tour dates, venues, and tickets are available on her official website.
