The first batch of presenters for the upcoming 2023 Grammy Awards has just been announced.
According to The Recording Academy, a diverse roster of presenters is set to introduce the winners for the biggest awards this year.
In the past, presenters for the Grammy Awards varied from one big star to the other - may it be from the current pool of nominees to past winners and even star-studded personalities and actors, the mix had always been diverse.
Last year, Megan Thee Stallion and Dua Lipa, fresh from their "Sweetest Pie" collaboration, made headlines as they recreated Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey's iconic same-dress stint at the 1998 MTV Video Music Awards.
Avril Lavigne was also there; Keith Urban, Billy Porter, Bonnie Raitt, Lenny Kravitz, and even Joni Mitchell were present. Jared Leto, Kelsea Ballerini, Anthony Mackie, Questlove, and Ludacris were there too.
For the 2023 Grammys, First Lady Jill Biden will make a special introduction to one of the awardees. Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B will also be presenting.
Olivia Rodrigo, who announced the 2023 Grammy Awards nominees, will also be presenting an award.
Award-winning actress Viola Davis will also be presenting. She is a Grammy away from being an EGOT awardee. She is nominated for Best Audio Book, Narration & Storytelling Recording for "Finding Me."
Dwayne, The Rock Johnson, will also be presenting, along with former Late Night Show host James Corden. Best Musical Theatre Album nominee Billy Crystal will be presenting an award too.
Five-time Grammy legend Shania Twain, who is making a comeback in her music career after suffering health setbacks over the year, will also be gracing the show.
Meanwhile, it has not yet been confirmed if there will be a second wave of Grammy Awards presenters.
As for the 2023 GRAMMYs performers, the first wave of acts has already been announced. Steve Lacy, Lizzo, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Kim Petras, Sam Smith, and Mary J. Blige will all be performing.
As for Beyonce, Adele, and Taylor Swift, Hits Daily Double reports their attendance at the Grammys, but their performances have not yet been confirmed as it is still under negotiation.
Music's Biggest Night will be held on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
